FLEXISPOT Standing Desk

A standing desk is a need if you've got kiddos wandering around your workspace. This type of desk allows you to be more mobile, whether you're carrying your little one or just need a break from sitting.

A good monitor is critical for productivity. For basic use such as emails, web browsing, word processing, and spreadsheets (and maybe even a little light gaming), I highly recommend the Samsung M8. It's fast, bright, aesthetic, and duals as a smart monitor to stream your favorite shows or YouTube videos.

Laptop Stand

Depending on your setup, a laptop stand is a great option, especially if you need quick access to a built-in webcam on your laptop. For the most part, I keep my laptop closed and work solely on my monitor. However, you can configure your display settings to extend your display and have an extra screen for added productivity and organization.

Govee PC backlights

Don't let the seasonal suds zap away your motivation! For an added touch to your workspace, incorporate some ambient lighting to warm up your space and promote creativity. These lights are especially useful during the Winter months when it gets dark quick.

keeping the kiddos entertained

This section is particularly a labor of love as I've struggled over the past few months between wanting my baby to participate in lots of sensory experiences and play, but needing to use screen-time so I can finish a task or get through a meeting.

It's easy to be hard on yourself about the quality time you spend with your child. However, this is your reminder: During the day, you are working. Give yourself some grace if you can't be present with your baby 100% of the time.

The products I have listed down below help find a happy middle between quality time with your baby and your employer:

Wood playpen

This is 100% my biggest recommendation to any mom working form home with their baby or toddler. When you're focused on a task, you need a safe place where your baby can play. People will also try and tell you that you have to sacrifice your aesthetic when you have a baby - they're lying. There are soooo many affordable options online that combine safety and design.
